Alaskan King Crab, and Dungeness Crab are at the top of every crustacean lover’s list for their mouthwatering deliciousness. What makes the Alaskan King Crab “The King” are their uniquely large size, and how delicious the meat is. Oftentimes, it’s described as lobster-like, not only for its texture, but for its rich and sweet flavour.
Dungeness Crab is beloved by everyone from at-home cooks, to culinary enthusiasts, to prize-winning chefs. Also known as “Dungies,” these Alaskan crabs have an amazing combination of salty-sweet and a slight hint of nuttyness that makes you say “Mmm” with every bite.
Our Alaskan King Crab and Dungeness Crab were cooked to perfection, then frozen. To prepare, we suggest removing them from the packaging, and thawing in the refrigerator overnight. If you’re in a hurry, toss them in a bowl of cold water until they’re fully thawed. Once the legs are thawed, you can enjoy them immediately. But we strongly suggest reheating them with the shell on and in the oven or a steamer, so you can taste all of their nuanced flavour. Remember, they’re already cooked, so only bring it up to serving temperature.
Don’t worry about fancy tools and shell-crackers to enjoy these delicious Pacific crabs, as our Alaskan King Crabs are prime cut split, and Dungies are snap n’ eat - for immediate devouring.
