You can find Albacore Tuna in every ocean including the Mediterranean Sea but it has predominantly been used for canned tuna. However, Organic Ocean's Wild Albacore Tuna are unique in that they are caught off the most Northern Pacific reaches for these highly migratory fish. This gives them a higher than average healthy fat content providing you with a melt in your mouth flavour experience. Organic Ocean’s Haidacore™ Tuna are troll caught using barbless hooks making it a very selective fishery with virtually no by-catch. Our tuna are Frozen at Sea (FAS) to preserve the quality of this exceptional fish. High in protein, omega 3, and selenium, while low in overall calories and fat it’s the perfect meal option for your family. And while there are health concerns around mercury in tuna, Organic Ocean Wild BC Haidacore™ Tuna are tested regularly and consistently test amongst the lowest mercury levels in the world. Because of the low mercury levels, Health Canada places no serving limits for our local Canadian North Pacific Albacore Tuna.
Organic Ocean's Albacore Tuna is processed into Haidacore™ Tuna Loins while still in their frozen state using special Japanese processing methods there-by ensuring that their superior quality and flavour are preserved.

Fresh and nothing like fish that doesn’t taste like fish. It was amazing and the freshness is superior. Tasty and yes, follow the recipes. Super yummy!
Amazing tuna for sashimi, tastes better than the sashimi from sushi restaurants, fattier and sweeter. Just purchased a 10lb pack as we ran out of the 2 ***** in a day lol
