Smoked Sockeye Salmon Tarte Recipe

Indulge in a delightful summer treat with our Smoked Salmon Tarte recipe, featuring Organic Ocean’s luscious smoked sockeye salmon. Ideal for a refreshing lunch or brunch.

Ingredients:

  • 113 g Organic Ocean Smoked Sockeye Salmon torn in half
  • 1 sheet of pre-rolled puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 egg whisked
  • 3 tbsp whipped cream cheese
  • 1/8 sliced red onion
  • 1 tbsp capers
  • Handful of dill chopped
  • 1 lemon sliced thinly
  • Pepper (to taste)

Recipe Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F and line a large sheet pans with parchment paper
  2. Place pastry on the parchment and brush with egg
  3. Bake for 30 minutes or until pastry is golden brown
  4. Let the pastry cool for 20 minutes (the center will be puffed up but you can gently push it down to make room for the filling)
  5. Spread the cream cheese filling and top with salmon slices and sprinkle with red onions, capers, dill, lemon, and a few good 'whacks' of freshly grated pepper.
